Andrew Billings is one of the best defensive players in all of college football. He has rare strength for his build (6’1″, 310) and looks like a prototypical nose tackle in a three or four man front whenever he decides to make the leap to the next level. In high school Andrew Billings posted astronomical lifting numbers while managing to maintain solid athleticism. However, his 2015 tape paints a bit of a different story. Billings showed a level of stiffness that was absent in his 2013 and 2014 games. This video goes over how Billings lack of flexibility hurts his game, but also how his strength allows him to dominate centers and guards at the line of scrimmage.
